How to replay your ski day for free

If your watch or phone recorded your day, you can see every run and lift ride again without paying for anything. You need one file and a web browser.

1. Get a file out of your app

Most ski and sports apps can export a GPX, FIT or TCX file. The menus change from time to time, so look for “export” on the day itself.

If the steps above do not match what you see, search your app’s help for “export GPX”. We have kept these steps general on purpose.

2. Drop it into Your day

Open Your day and choose the file. The page works out the day in your browser: each run and lift ride, speed, height, pauses and a chart you can run a finger along. It also shows the conditions that day at the resort.

Your file and track stay in your browser and are not uploaded. To fetch the conditions and the piste map, the page sends one rounded position (about a kilometre), the date and the resort it finds. Our server log keeps those for up to 30 days.

3. Replay it

From Your day you can fly a run over the mountain with the Fly it button. You can also download the day again as a GPX file or a CSV of every run and ride.

What to expect

A track from a phone in a pocket can have gaps, and gaps can join or split runs. Run names come from piste maps and are sometimes missing. Lift queues are estimated from where you stood still. Your day says what it can and cannot know.
