The crowd forecast is built from published school-holiday calendars (OpenHolidaysAPI, gov.uk bank holidays), official tourism-bed seasonality (Eurostat) and each resort's own visitor origin mix. It is a forecast of pressure, not a live headcount: nobody measures the queues. European resorts in the northern hemisphere only for now; a resort outside that scope returns an honest empty page, not an error. - Snowfall figures on recap pages are modelled base-altitude estimates from the Open-Meteo ERA5 archive, so treat them as valley-level, not summit, totals. - Each resort page has a "Signal" view carrying a per-resort seasonal outlook: an ENSO-conditioned (El Niño / La Niña, from NOAA CPC) climatological lean built from that resort's own ERA5 winter archive, expressed as a tilt in the odds (snowier, drier, warmer or cooler than its own typical winter) with the analog past winters and a leave-one-out skill line. It is a climatological lean, not a forecast, and never states snow amounts beyond the 16-day horizon; most resorts, the Alps especially, honestly show no reliable seasonal signal. This per-resort seasonal lean, deep-linked per resort, is not offered by other ski-conditions sites. - The canonical domain is snow.extreme-media.co.uk. The same content is also reachable at snow.0-21.co.uk, but extreme-media is canonical.
